Sanford Special Education Department has an opening for a Maine Certified Ed Tech 3 at Carl J Lamb School for the 25-26 school year. This position will work closely with the Special Education Teacher and general to implement lesson plans targeting academic, functional and social/emotional skills. The position requires classroom leadership and management for when the teacher is out of the classroom, ability to continue to plan lessons and modify lessons as needed and to collaborate with general education teachers when necessary. This position also supports students in the mainstream setting and must be able to modify and accomodate instruction as needed. This position also requires the collection of data and implementation of behavior support plans if needed. Experience working in a K-4 setting preferred.
