Position: Assistant Director of Special Services starting in the 23-24 school year
Location: Central Lincoln County School Department, AOS 93
Qualifications:

Maine Certification as Assistant Administrator of Special Education or Administrator of Special Education

Master’s Degree in Special Education
-
Three to five years of teaching experience in special education

Direct knowledge and understanding of development, social and emotional needs of children, and experience with positive behavioral supports.

Knowledge of special education law and all pertinent legal requirements at both the state and federal levels.

Superior interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
Job Goal: To assist the director of special services in the provision of appropriate educational programming and services for students.
The position is filled when a suitable candidate is found.
