ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL
EASTON (Maine) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The Easton School Committee is seeking an energetic and thoughtful educational leader to serve as Principal of Easton Elementary School. (Grades PreK-6, 100+ students and 15+/- staff members) Candidates must be certified (040) Successful candidate will:
- Communicate (written and oral) effectively
- Demonstrate innovation in an educational setting
- Lead curriculum, instruction and collaboration in a proficiency-based environment
- Possess good educational leadership, student management and community outreach skills
- Hold a master’s degree in Educational Administration/Leadership
In addition a working knowledge of:
- Standardized testing (SAT, Star-360, Smarter Balanced, etc.)
- Content Area Literacy Strategies
- Differentiated and data-driven instruction
- Design, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs
- Leading teachers toward quantifiable results
Federal (Title) Program administration experience is a distinct advantage.
