Special Education Teacher/Case Manager

Middle School Special Education Teacher, Resource Room Position 

Milford School Department will have a vacancy SY2025-2026 for a Special Education Teacher at the Dr. Lewis Libby Middle School in Milford Maine.   

Qualifications 

• Holds current Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check  

• Holds appropriate Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification:  282 or Conditional Certification leading to full 282 Certification 

Description: 

• Plan, develop and implement individualized learning plans for each student

• Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans according to IEP's

• Utilize appropriate methods of learning delivery and instruction to meet the needs of each student in the Least Restrictive Way

• Monitor, evaluate, and document each student's progress utilizing appropriate measurements and assessment devices

• Collaborate and consult with general school personnel regarding the implementation of IEPs and special education services

• Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with school district regulations and legal requirements

• Supervise educational technicians
