Grade 6 Classroom Teacher - Math/Science Focus

Description

Elm Street School is looking for a sixth grade classroom teacher to work in our small community school. We are seeking qualified candidates who will:

• Be able to provide quality instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Have strong, positive classroom management skills.
• Contributes to a positive school culture.
• Demonstrate willingness to teach math, science, and social studies with upper elementary students.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively with fellow classroom teachers, support staff, students and families.
• Familiarity with proficiency based learning and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports and/or willingness to learn these is a priority.
• Candidate must hold a current General Education Endorsement (K-8) teacher certification (020).
