Join MaineHealth in providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents in our long-term care and assisted living communities. We are seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers who are passionate about supporting individuals with dignity, respect, and empathy.

  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $5,000, contingent upon eligibility. 
  • Shift differentials for evening and weekend shifts

Summary

MaineHealth Behavioral Health offers transitional residential treatment programs for individuals navigating mental health challenges. Spanning across 12 programs from York to Belfast, our environment fosters support and encourages ongoing treatment and community integration. As a proficient Residential Care Worker, you'll play a crucial role in providing individuals with the chance to enhance their overall functioning and quality of life. By guiding them towards achieving their treatment objectives within both the residential program and the broader community, you'll make a significant impact on their journey towards maintaining recovery and reducing stigma. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in residential care, assisted living, or related field preferred.
  • Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
