Serving the beautiful coastal communities of Bristol, Jefferson, Nobleboro, and South Bristol, AOS 93 is a supportive, student-focused district where your work truly makes a difference. We are looking for a compassionate, collaborative, and enthusiastic professional who is passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As our School Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in conducting evaluations, supporting student learning through targeted interventions, and collaborating with educators and families to develop effective educational plans. You’ll also contribute to our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) efforts, promote positive school climates, and offer mental health consultation and resources to staff and caregivers.

The ideal candidate will hold (or be eligible for) Maine certification as a School Psychologist, have strong assessment and consultation skills, and bring a positive, flexible approach to teamwork. Other Information:

  • School Psychologist to work system-wide

  • Prior experience working with school-aged children  

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

  • Strong ability to administer and interpret a variety of evaluation instruments as well as to write evaluation reports

  • Experience assisting IEP teams in determining eligibility for special education services

  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments as well as developing and monitoring behavior plans is preferred

  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations
