PRE K - GRADE 3
SCHOOL COUNSELOR

Maine certification in elementary guidance.
Demonstrated ability to work with children to help them resolve educational challenges.
Demonstrated ability to help children resolve academic and personal problems related to home, family relations, health, and emotional adjustments.
Ability to provide in-service trainings for staff as appropriate.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge of research based strategies to help children regulate their behaviors.
Experience teaching elementary students.
Skills in conflict resolution.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with 504 process preferred.
Experience working with RTI behavior preferred.
