Position

MMRACE is seeking a full-time, academic-year, STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) instructor to join our dynamic and friendly Adult Education team starting in January 2025. The ideal candidate will inspire adult learners, foster critical thinking, and provide practical skills for career advancement or academic pursuits. The candidate will have experience teaching science, mathematics, and technology subjects and will hold either a conditional or professional certification endorsement as an Adult Education Teacher in 300 Mathematics, 350 Physical Science, and/or 395 Life Science.

Position Salary: $43,496.90 - 90,934.65 based on experience

Performance Responsibilities:

? Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to adult learners

? Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

? When appropriate, invite guests to come in and speak to the class on their role in the community.

? Use technology and other equipment and materials to supplement activities and lessons.

? Teach a variety of STEM subjects including basic math to College-Algebra, science, and introductory digital literacy classes.

? Provide individual and group instruction to meet the needs of students. ? Other duties as assigned Qualifications

? Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field; Master’s preferred

? Conditional or professional certification endorsement as an Adult Education Teacher in 300 Mathematics, 350 Physical Science, and/or 395 Life Science.

? Proficient in basic computer skills, MS Office Suite, LMS, and Google Drive Suite

? Impeccable organizational & interpersonal skills ? Passion for engaging learners in authentic learning experiences

? Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, preferred
