Mountain Valley Community School in Mexico, ME is looking for a Grade 7 ELA Teacher (#020 certification) to work as part of our education team.

We are 45-60 minutes from Lewiston/Auburn and 90 minutes from Portland. We have great outdoor recreation and children who need you!
Mountain Valley Community School is seeking a 7th ELA teacher who will
inspire and engage students in the art of language and written expression. The ideal
candidate will possess strong communication skills, a creative approach to teaching, and the
ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Experience with BARR
(Building Assets, Reducing Risks) preferred.
We will consider Emergency or Conditional certfications, if you haven't earned your full Professional certification.
Benefit for Teachers: If a newly hired teacher (to RSU 10) is professionally certified and chooses not to take courses their first year, they qualify for up to $2500 towards existing student loans.
