Description:  Responsibilities will include; meeting the social and emotional needs of students; maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and delivering differentiated instruction in all core subjects. Collaboration and teamwork are integral parts of the job in order to meet the needs of all students. Experience with the inclusion of students with diverse needs (multilanguage, SPED, trauma, etc.) is preferred. Professional development and ongoing support is available through an instructional coach model for teachers new to the district.

Qualifications:  

• Maine Certification for K-8 classroom teacher, CHRC.
• Experience with planning, delivering, and assessing elementary school curricula. A strong understanding of and appreciation for the developmental and social emotional needs of K-2 students.  Experience with Google Suite and classroom technology.
