Ed-Tech III Teaching one of our Special rotations (focusing on SEL lessons, Health, and overall Wellness Skills) for grades 3, and 4 Paraprofessional (Instructional)

Brief Job Duties:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Deliver structured SEL, health, and wellness lessons to students in grades 3 and 4 as part of the school’s special rotation schedule
  • Support students in developing emotional regulation, positive relationships, and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school counselors to align instruction with schoolwide goals and student needs
  • Monitor student engagement and behavior during lessons, providing support and redirection as needed
  • Assist with planning and organizing materials and activities that promote student well-being and social-emotional growth

Certification/License:
Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education

Education:
Appropriate for Ed Technician Certification Level

Experience:
Successful prior classroom experience or working with students for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.
