Nobleboro is looking to hire both a girls' and boys' basketball coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The teams include students in grades 6-8 (sometimes 5th if needed.
Nobleboro is part of the Busline League, and the basketball season will start in mid-November and go through early February. Candidates must have a CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) and have been fingerprinted prior to the season starting. This is a stipend position, paid at the end of the season.
Anyone applying should have some experience with the sport of basketball, have an interest in working with this age group, and be a positive influence on the team, as well as place a strong focus on skill development, having fun, and helping the players learn how to develop into successful student-athletes both on and off the court. Applicants should also have good communication skills to be able to manage the challenges of working with not only middle school students, but also parents, other coaches, athletic directors, and referees.
