Description: Scarborough Public Schools is seeking a qualified individual with an understanding of student-centered instructional practices. Candidates should be able to teach within all social studies disciplines, be eager to collaborate with other teachers and be comfortable using technology in the classroom. Courses likely to be taught: AP Government (3 sections), College Prep - Economics/Civics and Government (1 section), College Prep - World Studies (1 section).
Qualifications: Maine Department of Education Social Studies Teacher Certification 200S endorsement (grade 7-12). Experience as a secondary education Social Studies teacher is preferred.
