This is a full-time position spanning the regular school year, as well as a 28-day summer program. Classroom placements are based upon on skill and experience, and all new hires are provided with a two-week orientation at Spurwink's training center in Portland.

Educational Technician III/SB-BHP applicants must provide documentation of at least 90 college credit hours and have or be eligible for Maine Department of Educational certification as an Ed Tech III. A positive attitude, high energy level and the ability to think creatively as a member of a multidisciplinary team are essential! Spurwink will provide School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (SB-BHP) training and certification opportunities post-hire.
