Dike-Newell School
Grade 2 Teacher
RSU 1 seeks a Grade 2 Teacher for Dike-Newell School beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidates will have in-depth knowledge of literacy teaching and learning with beginning readers. Experience with Reveal Math, Fountas and Pinnell Guided Reading, Heggerty, UFLI, Responsive Classroom, and a variety of online teaching tools, such as iXL and Lexia is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work successfully with families
- Effective communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and a proven ability to work well in a team oriented environment
Certification:
- General Elementary Teaching Certificate (020)
- Current Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
