Average starting wage - 20.85 to 22.85 or more with experience
We are currently recruiting for a full time (school year schedule) Ed Tech II or III position (minimum 60 college credits required). This position will be working collaboratively with the classroom teacher in a Pre-K classroom with children ages 4-5. Must be able to build relationships with children and their families and help children develop the skills and knowledge neccassary for a successful transition to elementary school. Assistance with lesson planning, documentation, classroom and behavior management andother duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Maine Department of Education Ed Tech certification (minimum of an Ed Tech 2, 60 college credits) We will pay your fees and help you apply!
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday and have experience or education in early childhood education.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, get down on the floor with children for floor time activities and
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Computer skills are required and must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form.
This position pays a minimum of $19.25 an hour and is 37.5 hours per week. You will also be eligible for the state of Maine Supplemental Wage stipend.
The amount paid to you monthly is based upon your level within Maine Roads to Quality.
Level 1, 2, 3, 4 = $240 a month (averages an additional $1.60 per hour)
Level 5-6 = $360 a month (averages an additional $2.40 per hour)
Level 7-8 = $540 a month (averages and additional ($3.60 per hour)
