Description

Leonard Middle School seeks a committed and experienced Head Cross Country Coach. We're looking for a dynamic leader who can inspire student-athletes, build a program designed around learning, fostering a culture of hard work and making sure kids are having fun.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Coaching and managing the LMS Cross Country program.

  • Planning and conducting practices, games, and off-season training.

  • Promoting character development, academic accountability, and sportsmanship.

  • Collaborating with school staff, and parents

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Cross Country training fundamentals and strategy.

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and connect with student-athletes.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Appropriate coaching certifications and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

  • Compliance with all school and athletic association regulations.
