Job Title:  Adult Education Administrative Assistant

Date Available:  June 1, 2024

Description: This is a 20 hour per week position. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting Director in meeting the administrative needs of the adult education program.
  • Communicates effectively (face to face, telephone, and email) with adult learners in a supportive and affirmative manner, maintaining confidentiality of individuals enrolled in the program.
  • Coordinates Enrichment program through recruitment of  instructors and outreach to community and others as necessary.
  • Maintains student and course database systems.
  • Data entry and student record keeping is required.
  • Provides evening coverage when necessary to support adult education instructors and learners.
  • This position has some summer daytime hours to assist with course catalog and marketing of program.


  • CHRC (Criminal Record History Check) 
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite, Google G suite, database systems
  • Customer service and marketing experience
