Early Childhood IEP Coordinator - District
Regional School Unit 13 is seeking a dynamic and innovative IEP Coordinator to work with students in our expanded Early Childhood program. This position is non-aligned.
Responsibilities will include:
- Facilitation of IEP meetings for Early Childhood students within district
- Ensuring IEP timeline/ paperwork compliance for Early Childhood students
- Acting as liaison between RSU 13 and outside early childhood education providers or agencies (i.e. CDS)
- Collaboration with Maine Care agency staff/providers
- Other duties as assigned by the special education director
A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a willingness to seek non-traditional solutions to issues as they arise, an ability to build positive relationships with students, and a willingness to collaborate with parents, special educators, regular educators, service providers, and administrators as appropriate.

Salary Range: Starting at $70,000 or more. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Required:
- Maine Criminal Records History check
- Appropriate education, background, experience, and have (or be eligible for) Maine Department of Education certification (#035 endorsement)
