The Hyde School model of academics is represented through the prestige of the Learning Triangle: student, teacher, and subject at the core of our intellectual pursuits. The triangle recognizes the powerful relationships of discovery formed through learning.
Through this core of academic attainment, Hyde values the process of learning profoundly, evaluating students with both an effort and achievement grade at every marking period. We aim to foster an appreciation for mathematical subjects and mindsets as well as to challenge our students to effectively communicate their understanding of those subjects. The focus of the mathematics curriculum at Hyde is toward real-world applications and experienced-based understanding of course materials so that students may apply what they learn toward topics beyond the classroom.
