Camden Hills Regional High School invites you to lead The Hatchery—our dynamic innovation center designed to inspire, equip, and empower students through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world connections.
About The Hatchery:
This thriving innovation hub includes:
- A fully equipped MakerSpace
- A developing Commons collaboration area
- An internal apprenticeship program
- Active partnerships with local organizations
- Mentorship for student-led innovation projects
- And much more still evolving!
While much of the vision has taken root, there’s still tremendous room to shape and grow this program—and we’re looking for the right person to lead the next chapter.
Who We're Looking For:
We want someone who can dream big and get things done—whether you’re:
- A master maker who’s organized and loves to lead
- An entrepreneur excited to bring your energy into education
- A skilled educator ready to pioneer a non-traditional role
Above all, you’re driven to turn ideas into action and help students do the same.
What You’ll Do:
This is not a classroom teaching role. As the Hatchery Coordinator, you’ll:
- Mentor and guide student innovation projects
- Connect students with local experts and opportunities
- Oversee the Hatchery’s facilities and programs
- Coordinate internships and extended learning experiences
- Serve as a catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and community engagement
Position Details:
- Full-time, 215-day contract
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Start date: August 1, 2025 (some flexibility here)
