Coaching Positions: Boys JV Lacrosse Coach

Maranacook Community High School

Maranacook Community High School is hiring a Boys JV Lacrosse coach for the 2024 season.

Job Goal: To assist each participating student to develop their skills and create a positive environment for athletic performance. The coach’s responsibilities include leading training sessions, providing motivation and advice during games, develop competition plans and communication with participating athletes and families. The goal for each participant is to achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.

The successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of lacrosse, be willing to work collaboratively with other coaches, students, parents, and administration in order to benefit students. Prior coaching experience preferred but willing to train the right candidates.

 

Certification: Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) through the Maine Department of Education.

Application Deadline:

Internal: November 29, 2023

External: December 1, 2023, 2023 or until a suitable candidate is found.
