Description

Falmouth Elementary School is seeking  dynamic educators to fill full-time, K-5 RTI Educational Technician III positions.

This compassionate and creative individual will work collaboratively with RTI teachers, classroom teachers and the learning strategist to support students in grades K-2 or 3-5. Primary work will focus on planning and providing small group instruction in math and reading based on student need, as well as supporting classrooms.  Other responsibilities include:

  • data collection,
  • assessing students,
  • other content area instruction, and
  • full-classroom coverage as needed.

Built in 2010, Falmouth Elementary School (approximately 900 students K-5) is housed in a state-of-the-art building located on our 100 acre district K-12 campus.  Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop house, and opportunities for collaboration between schools.  Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award:  student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments.

Qualifications:
The successful candidates must have the Maine Educational Technician Level III authorization and have completed necessary fingerprinting through the Maine Department of Education, as well as a district-run background check.  Experience preferred.

Compensation:  The pay will be based on experience and ($20.88 - $26.25) and a generous and comprehensive benefits package includes 100% district-paid single health and dental coverage, life insurance, Maine State Retirement, leave days, and professional development support.   Positions are 35 hrs per week, school year.
