Substitute Teacher Needed at the Ecology Learning Center

The Ecology Learning Center, a charter school in Unity, Maine,  is looking for energetic and motivated substitute teachers to work with students in grades 9-12 for the 2023-24 school year. Rate includes a guaranteed minimum of 4 hours pay for every shift up to $120 per day. The ideal candidates for substitute teacher jobs have a bachelor’s degree and enjoy working with young adult learners. They are flexible and have some sort of education experience. Formal experience and/or a state teaching license is good, but we welcome those with informal experience, too.  Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
