Kitchen Personnel (897)

Sanford School Nutrition is seeking a Kitchen Personnel for Sanford High School. This position is 5 days per week, 6.5 hours per day.  Food service experience is preferred but not required.  Compensation for this position is between $18.04 - $20.81 per hour depending on experience. 

Kitchen Personnel prepare and serve food that is safe & healthful, using up to date cooking methods.

The job requirements are as follows:

• Operate all kitchen equipment
• Assist at service time
• Participate in cleanup of kitchen and cafeteria including washing dishes, pots & pans and other equipment
• Prepare daily records and assist in preparing monthly inventories
• Manage work schedule to meet all deadlines
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality when dealing with student, staff and/or parent information
• Other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be physically fit and able to lift 40 pounds
• Able to read, convert and follow through recipes to end product
• Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record
• Thorough knowledge of USDA menu pattern requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and sanitation
