Part-Time HiSET Writing Prep Instructor Job Posting

Bonny Eagle Adult Education is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructor to

teach a HiSET Writing Preparation class during the spring and fall semesters. Classes

meet Thursday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a

meaningful difference by supporting adult learners as they work toward achieving their

high school equivalency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required
Must have a State of Maine Adult Education endorsement in a HiSET content area (ELA, Social Studies, Science, or Math), or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred: Maine K–12 certification in a HiSET content area
Current CHRC required
