Bus Driver

On Call, Part Time & Full Time

Job Goal(s): Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school.  Provide a safe and clean learning environment enabling the students to take the fullest advantage of the District's total educational program. Respect the District and its personnel and represent it with the up-most professionalism. 
 
 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Commitment to student safety and punctuality

 

Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but training available)
  • Maine DOE Background Check (CHRC)
 
Performance Responsibilities
  • Safely transport students to and from school and activities
  • Maintain a clean and orderly bus
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

 Experience

  • Experience Prefered
  • Will train the right candidates
