Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5 – 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students’ active engagement in the learning process.
CRMS is looking for an Athletic Coordinator to provide logistical support, coordination and some supervision for our interscholastic athletic program. This staff member would provide and/or coordinate site management on game days, arrange for clock and bookkeepers and other athletic support staff. The coordinator will also assist the Athletic Director with rescheduling, be responsible for equipment and uniform inventory, schedule gym uses for practices, and support effective communication between stakeholder groups. The candidate should be organized, an excellent communicator, have solid technology skills, and be very flexible. Experience with coaching and/or managing athletics is essential. The position is approximately 325 hours, averaging 10-15 hours a week in sports season and fewer between seasons. Pay is $10,000 annually which is approximately $30/hr. Availability from 3:15pm on is essential to the role. Hours vary each day and week.
