RSU 64 is seeking applicants for a Math teacher vacancy for Central High School for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Central High School is located in Corinth, Maine. RSU 64 serves students in Bradford, Corinth, Hudson, Kenduskeag, and Stetson, Maine.
Our goal, in RSU 64, is to hire an educator who has an open and inspired view of what great mathematics instruction should look like. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will preferably have:
Prior successful experience as a teacher in grades 9-12, though we absolutely welcome new teachers and those with solid math backgrounds looking to become an educator, to apply;
A background in computer science and upper level mathematics, such as calculus;
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
Demonstrated knowledge of a standards based system of education;
Demonstrated knowledge in the application of technology in the delivery of instruction;
Current Maine certification or the ability to become certified; and
Current Maine CHRC.
