Qualifications required:

• Able to secure or currently have Maine Educational Technician Certification
• Meets Federal and State requirements
• Be a collaborative team member
• Has a High School Diploma or equivalent, or higher

Job Description:

• Desire to work with school-aged children with disabilities
• Work with and instruct students with disabilities
• Collaborate with educational support staff, related service providers and administrators
• Regularly communicate special education students progress/needs to staff
• Communicate with teachers and school administration on student issues as needed
• Participate in school faculty meetings and staff development workshops offered by the district
• Enforce and uphold all District and Program/Building policies, rules, and regulations
• Perform other duties assigned
